u3a

Wisbech & District

Many people haven’t yet heard of u3a, but we’re working to change that!

We’re part of an international movement with over 1,000 groups across the UK, and our Wisbech branch has been going strong for around 15 years. With over 200 members, we welcome anyone no longer in full-time employment who’s looking to make new friends, enjoy shared interests, and make the most of life in the ‘third age.’

Our motto—“Learn, Laugh, Live”—sums up what we’re all about.

We hold a monthly Open Meeting at St. Peter’s Church Hall in Wisbech, starting at 2:30 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month. It’s a great opportunity to find out what we offer, and visitors are always given a warm welcome!

Each meeting includes:

  • An engaging guest speaker
  • Refreshments and a raffle
  • A display of our many interest groups and activities

Free parking is available in St. Peter’s Car Park.

Whether you want to discover a new hobby, deepen an existing interest, or share your own skills with others, there’s something for everyone at u3a. Join us and become part of a vibrant, friendly community!
