From 2007 until 2019, Ray was the Press Box Scorer for all the Test Matches and numerous One Day Internationals, including the 2017 Women’s and 2019 Men’s World Cup Cricket Finals. Before that, he scored at club, university, and minor counties level, including a tour to South Africa. Ray’s talk invites the audience to: join  him on his odyssey to the press box; find out how he got involved in press box scoring; and what it’s like to be in a media centre; and laugh at the amusing things that happened to him on his journey.
